GO STATE! The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida serves one of the largest concentrations of Green & White faithful in the country! Covering the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade, there are over 4,000 Spartan alumni and families in the South Florida area.

 

The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida works toward three goals:

  1. Providing alumni and friends of MSU social and professional networking opportunities in the South Florida area.
  2. Helping Spartan-owned and operated businesses thrive and succeed.
  3. Helping future and current MSU students with our scholarship fund.

  • Greg Jones: Hometown Day, Pt. 3 - Moeller High School
    Spartan All-America linebacker Greg Jones visited his hometown of Cincinnati in the summer to speak at the Boys and Girls Club in the Avondale neighborhood. In the final installment of a three-part series on msuspartans.com, Jones stops by Moeller High School, where his football career blossomed, to relive his high school days and also see his former coaches.
  • Greg Jones: Hometown Day, Pt. 2 - Boys and Girls Club
    Spartan All-America linebacker Greg Jones visited his hometown of Cincinnati in the summer to speak at the Boys and Girls Club in the Avondale neighborhood. He also took time to catch up with friends and family before the start of the football season and gave a tour of his most memorable places in his hometown. In the second of a three-part series on msuspartans.com, Jones stops by at the first practice field he learned how to play football and speaks at the Boys and Girls Club.

  • Big Ten Announces Football Divisions; 2011-12 Schedules
    The Big Ten Conference office announced football division alignments beginning with the 2011 season as recommended by conference directors of athletics and reviewed and supported by the Big Ten Council of Presidents/Chancellors. Nebraska will officially begin conference competition in 2011, giving the Big Ten 12 football programs for the first time in conference history.
  • Greg Jones: Hometown Day
    The story of Greg Jones' football career begins at the corner of Rockdale and Harvey Avenues in the Avondale neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. After bringing home a flyer to his mother, Beverly, promoting tryouts for the neighborhood team, the Avondale Warriors - and ultimately convincing her - he learned the game of football on this modest playground field starting at 8 years old.
