GO STATE! The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida serves one of the largest concentrations of Green & White faithful in the country! Covering the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade, there are over 4,000 Spartan alumni and families in the South Florida area.
The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida works toward three goals:
- Providing alumni and friends of MSU social and professional networking opportunities in the South Florida area.
- Helping Spartan-owned and operated businesses thrive and succeed.
- Helping future and current MSU students with our scholarship fund.

Green Named Finalist For Lowe's Senior CLASS Award
Michigan State senior forward Draymond Green is one of 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition.

Grinz On Green: Reflecting On 400
They stopped being recruiting promises and became self-fulfilling prophesies long ago. If you come to Michigan State to play basketball, you will be a part of something special at one point, and probably many points, during your Spartan career. Coach Tom Izzo calls them "memory-makers," and he delivered yet another Tuesday night during what on the surface looked like a routine 68-52 victory over Minnesota in the Breslin Center.

Following Saturday's win over Purdue, Michigan State is back in a three-way tie for first place in the Big Ten. The Spartans welcome Minnesota to Breslin Center as the Golden Gophers are one of the league's hottest teams having won three in a row, including two straight on the road. MSU has won nine straight games played on one of the two schools' campuses.

Michigan State fifth-year senior tight end Brian Linthicum, who set career highs for receptions (31) and receiving yards (364) in 2011, will represent the North in Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. NFL Network will televise the 63rd annual Senior Bowl at 4 p.m. EST. Late Thursday night, Linthicum participated in a Q&A with msuspartans.com.

Michigan State fifth-year senior Kirk Cousins, the winningest quarterback in school history, will represent the North in Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Cousins compiled a 27-12 record (.692) in 39 career starts, including a 22-5 mark over his final two seasons. NFL Network will televise the 63rd annual Senior Bowl at 4 p.m. EST.

Championships Built On Memberships
Michigan State Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced a new pricing structure for Spartan Stadium on Thursday, Jan. 26. Hollis said the required contributions are projected to generate somewhere between $1.5 million to $3.5 million annually. The new funding source is targeted for much-needed upgrades to Spartan Stadium, beginning with new video boards in 2012, along with athletic scholarships.

Michigan State senior wide receiver Keith Nichol, who set career highs for catches (26), receiving yards (352) and TD receptions (3) in 2011, will represent the American team in Saturday's NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
