It was a memorable Senior Day for the Michigan State baseball team on Saturday afternoon at McLane Baseball Stadium. The Spartans capped off the regular season with a 9-2 victory over Penn State, giving the class of 2012 its 128th win over the past four years, tying for the mostin school history along with the class of 1989 and 1990.

For the second straight day, Penn State hit a game-winning home run in the late innings to defeat the Michigan State baseball team. With the score tied at 5 in the top of the ninth on Friday afternoon at McLane Baseball Stadium, Nittany Lion third baseman Joey DeBernardis hit a solo shot to left field, propelling the Nittany Lions to a 6-5 win.
