Scholarship Fund
True to the land-grant tradition of Michigan State University, the South Florida MSU Alumni Club is currently raising funds toward the goal of offering scholarships to students in the South Florida area. These scholarships help defray the ever-rising costs of education and provide needed financial support for local students. Scholarship recipients are chosen by the club each spring.

Nicole wrote the following letter to the South Florida Alumni:
Dear Ms. Meachum and members of the South Florida MSU Alumni Club:
Thank you so much for choosing me as the recipient of the MSU Alumni Club of South Florida Endowed Scholarship. I am flattered and honored that you have such an investment in my Spartan education, and that you would dedicate those funds to me. Your kindness epitomizes one of main camaraderie. It is an amazing feeling to know that there are Spartans from your hometown who want to see you succeed, and who also know what it is like to be a part of the Michigan State family.
On a personal note, I just want to let you know that I could not be happier in East Lansing. There is just something magical about being on campus, whether it be seeing Spartan Stadium at night or walking past students studying under trees by the Red Cedar. I feel so priviledged to be able to come to a school like Michigan State, and it is people like you who allow me to get the most out of my Spartan education.
Again, thank you so much for designating me as the recipient of your scholarship. Have a great year.....and GO GREEN!!
Sincerely,
Nicole Niss
Thank you South Florida Spartans for all your contributions and helping to make Nicole's education a bit easier!!!
